Minions a’ Many

On deviantArt this week, there is a contest to draw minions. The picture is required to be approximately 2000 x 550 pixels. Hence the above minion banner. Do you like it? I made it myself. Minions are fun to draw. Anyhow, I’m getting more sword tails for my twenty gallon tank, due to the fact it looks all empty and my orange male, Chase, died. So, my mom ordered me five misc. swordtails on eBay. I can’t wait to get them! This is the best way, as I don’t have to choose out of the seventeen choices for swordtails from Imperial Tropics! That’s the name of the swordtail breeder we bought from. Here’s a picture of some of the fish I might be receiving.

The real reason I came on here was to tell you all my good fortune. The librarian at my school has managed to get the books I want for me! She actually went out and bought them, just for me. I’m feeling very special right now. The series I’m currently reading is, The Softwire, by PJ Haarsma. Currently I’m on book three, Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3. I read the previous two last week. These are science fiction books about life on a far away planet for some human children. Their parents died before they reached the planet, and their ship, Mother, hatched the embryos aprox. Twelve years before they reached the planet. So in the first book the main characters are all 12, except for Ketheria. She is the main character, Johnny’s, little sister. She, along with all of the second batch to be hatched, are eight in the beginning. By the third book, I’m pretty sure that they are all seventeen. Well, the first batch is. The second batch would then be 12. It’s a great quartet, and I highly suggest this for… Well, anyone! So, if you’re looking for a nice book to curl up with this weekend, consider The Softwire.
